Who we are

Lumavante is an independently owned publishing operation founded in 2026. It is run by Charles Silva and operates from Brazil, publishing in English for readers in the United States. There is no newsroom and no investor behind this — it is a small operation, and we would rather say so than imply otherwise.

The name comes from lumen, light, and avante, forward: the light that goes ahead of you. That is the job description. Someone is about to spend money on something they have only seen advertised, and we try to put a little light on the path before they do.

How the site is paid for

Lumavante earns affiliate commissions. When a reader follows one of our links to a seller and buys, the seller may pay us a percentage of that sale. The reader pays the ordinary price; the commission comes out of the seller's margin, not the buyer's pocket.

We think that arrangement is fine as long as it is visible, so we make it visible: on the page, before the link, in plain words. The full terms are on our affiliate disclosure page.

The rules we hold ourselves to

• A commission does not buy a conclusion. What we publish about a product does not change because one seller pays more than another.
• Claims come from the source. We check the seller's own published materials and terms rather than repeating a summary we found elsewhere.
• Health claims stay inside the evidence. We do not promise medical outcomes, and we do not describe a product as a treatment or a cure. Statements about dietary supplements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration.
• Money terms are stated, not buried. Price, refund window, and any recurring billing are written where you can see them.
• Corrections are public. If we get something wrong and you tell us, we fix the page and note that it was changed.

What we cannot do for you

We are not the seller, and we have no access to any seller's order system. We cannot look up your order, change an address, cancel a subscription, or issue a refund. If you bought something after visiting this site, your relationship is with the seller and their customer service team is the right place to go. Our contact page explains how to find them.
